Today is February 5th, now it’s Spring Festival eve in China. Chinese New Year is the most important festivity for the Chinese people. Every year has an animal’s name. The coming year will be rat. Chinese New Year starts with the New Moon on the first day of the new year and ends on the full moon 15 days later. New Year's Eve and New Year's Day are celebrated as a family affair, a time of reunion and thanksgiving. The celebration was traditionally highlighted with a religious ceremony given in honor of Heaven and Earth.
Today I suddenly realize that I miss my family very much. I can image what they were doing. They are celebrating, and they will have a big, delicious lunch. My uncles and my father like playing Majiang in the afternoon. My aunties and my mom like to go shopping.
My cousins usually surf the Internet…
Last year, when I was in China, my family had a big celebration, and it was only for me. It was the first time that they cooked every dish was only for myself. I also played Majiang with my families. At night, we watched TV program. Every one gave me red envelope, also my cousins. The Spring Festival was my favorite festival.

Last Thursday, in my seminar class, we read a story named On Seeing The 100% Perfect Girl One Beautiful April Morning. In 1981, when he was walking, he met a girl who was his 100% perfect girl. She was not beautiful and not perfect. In fact, she was not young, looks like 30 years old. However, he knew that she was his 100% perfect girl. He came up with a lot of ideas to talk to the girl. When he found an idea to talk to the girl, she lost.
Then, time went back to 14 years ago. He was 18 years old, and she was 16 years old. They met each other one day. He knew she was his 100% perfect girl. She knew he was her 100% perfect boy. They talked a lot, but the boy thought it was unbelievable. Therefore, he told the girl “Let’s test ourselves-just once. If we really are each other’s 100% perfect lovers, then sometime, somewhere, we will meet again without fail. And when that happens, and we know that we are the 100% perfect ones, we’ll marry then and there. What do you think?” Then, she went to east, and he went to west. The test went on for 14 years. They forgot their memory. During the 14 years, they all had their lovers, but they were just 70% and 80% lovers. One beautiful April morning, they met each other. She knew he was 100% perfect boy for her. He knew she was 100% perfect girl for him. But they lost their memory, so they didn’t say anything. Forever.
Every year, every day, every minute, we maybe meet our 100% perfect lovers. When we meet our 100% perfect girl or 100% perfect boy, don’t miss the boat. If we spend 14 years to find our 100% perfect lovers, it is a waste of time.

Enchanted
After I watched the movie, I felt surprised that the writer could write a story like this. It is totally different from the fairy tale in the past. The writer tried to change audience’s thoughts that fairy tale was not clean and honest. The story was not a real fairy tale as usual. Fortunately, the story had a happy ending.
I also like the songs in the movie. One is That’s how you know, another song is “So close”, especially the second song. In the movie, when Giselle and the lawyer were dancing, a man sang the song. I recommend to my classmates to watch the movie and listen to these two songs.

My New Friends
He was my uncle’s colleague. I was very glad to know him because he has a daughter who is 19 years old. Her name is Ting. In Chinese, Ting means beautiful. She is studying in university of Toronto. She told me that her family has been Toronto for six years, and now she is familiar with Toronto. If I would like to some places, she can be my guide. She also has another two younger sisters, and the interesting thing is her sisters are twins. I always see twins in many places, but this is my first time to know twins. Morever, their names are Lily and Lucy. I knew these two names when I started to learn English. There was a dialogue about twins whose names were Lily and Lucy in my text book. I thought these two names only were created by the wirter because it was text book for students. I was so surprized that they would be my uncle's friend's daughter's names. The twins are only three years old, and they're as bright as button.
We had a great time at Saturday, and I was glad to know the family.

Introduction
I have been Canada for eight months. I enjoy the life in Toronto very much. Playing computer games is my favourite hobby. I'm living with my grandparents. They always don't allow me to go outside, so I just stay at home and play computer or surf on Internet. Although mygrandparents don't go easy on me, I still love them. This is my life in Canada. Although I love the life in Toronto, I miss my parents. Next month is Chinese spring festival, I wish I can go back to China.
